culmed covid19

The recent pandemic and the COVID-19 outbreak has changed the pace and the form of our work, without though hindering CULMED project activities.

Following the successful implementation of our core field research activity in Greece, Romania, and Bulgaria under the lead of EKKE and the implementation of our Dacum workshops during the previous semester under the lead of KEK-ELTA and ELTA, Culmed project partners proceeded on the development and finalization of the education material that will be used during the training activities and will be available throughout the project duration and after the project as a reference point and for current and new staff of post organizations partners of the project.

During January 2020, the project’s education platform has also being developed by ICI and its full deployment was made available in February 2020 after the uploading of the education material in English https://platform.culmed-project.eu/ and prepared also in other languages of the project.

During the period where restrictions in travelling were fully deployed throughout Europe and in project partner countries, project partners reflected on reviewing means and ways of better delivering the training activities, under the guidelines that have been issued for Erasmus+ projects. Training activities are expected to take place in June, while the mentoring activity is currently underway, where its first deliverables and implementation is expected to take place also during June.

Project partners and partner organization staff have expressed and reaffirmed their dedication and commitment to project activities despite the challenges and reorganization of work brought up by the pandemic.
